Louisiana singer/songwriter played a beautiful, emotional set at la Maroquinerie opening for Israel Nash. He won the audience over with his impassioned, distinctive vocals, his exquisite fingerpicking technique and most of all his delightful songs in the vein of Neil Young , Tom Petty and John Prine.
An unassuming yet warm and charismatic presence, the young man regaled the crowd with the stories that informed his songs, adding to the intimate atmosphere of the concert. And once the light came back on, everyone in attendance realized that they had just witnessed the future of Americana music.
