Jerry Joseph is a veteran singer/songwriter who has been in several bands before launching a solo career. His latest album was produced by Drive-by Truckers' Patterson Hood who invited him to open for their current tour.
He played a short set which was very well received by the crowd and featured just as much talking as it did singing, but the whole thing was so touching and entertaining that no one seemed to care. Joseph's weathered voice and his sharp songwriting were the perfect opener for the evening. Hopefully he returns to our shores soon in a headlining capacity.
