Lloyd Cole to play two intimate shows in Paris in the fall

Lloyd Cole returns to Paris for two special nights at the elegant Théâtre de l'Athénée Louis Jouvet on October 27 and 28, offering an intimate double-set solo performance each evening. A cult favorite since the release of Rattlesnakes with the Commotions in 1984—an album now hailed as a cornerstone of literate '80s pop—Cole will trace the arc of his storied career, from jangly indie classics to the sleek, introspective textures of his 2023 album On Pain. Known for his razor-sharp lyrics and wry stage presence, Cole was last seen in Paris with his full band in November 2023. These upcoming solo shows promise a rare chance to hear his songs stripped back in the exquisite surroundings of one of Paris’s most historic theaters.
