Metallica is breaking new ground in immersive concert experiences with ultra-high-resolution 180-degree video and Spatial Audio, bringing fans closer than ever. From up-close Snake Pit shots to sweeping wide-angle views, the performance is captured using a custom stage setup with 14 Apple Immersive Video cameras—featuring stabilized rigs, cable-suspended setups, and remote-controlled dolly systems for dynamic movement around the stage.
Alongside the experience, Metallica Live From Mexico City, a new Spatial Audio EP, drops on Apple Music this Friday. Fans can also get an extended preview of the movie at Apple Store locations worldwide starting March 14, as part of the Apple Vision Pro demo.
