Rock N' Roll Doctors @ Quartier Général Oberkampf, Paris - March 25th, 2025

Local Black Sabbath tribute act Rock N’ Roll Doctors delivered a solid, well-paced set last night, drawing on material from nearly every era of the band’s long and winding history. While many Sabbath tributes tend to stick to the Ozzy years, and some even dare to venture into Dio territory, this group makes a point of exploring beyond that familiar realm—Ian Gillan and even Tony Martin-era songs were a welcome addition to the setlist, showcasing the band’s range and deeper knowledge of the catalog.

One distinctive element of Rock N’ Roll Doctors is their vocalist—a woman whose delivery adds a different dynamic to the material without straying too far from the spirit of the originals. It's a subtle but refreshing twist that helps set them apart from other tribute acts.

Overall, this was a tight, well-executed performance by a group clearly familiar with—and fond of—the heavy legacy they’re channeling. While it’s not reinventing the wheel, Rock N’ Roll Doctors offer a thoughtful, crowd-pleasing take on Sabbath’s discography that’s worth catching if they're playing near you.
