By the time Beastö Blancö hit the Stage in Paris next fall, it will havebeen almost a year since Beastö Blancö last tore through Paris, leaving the Élysée Montmartre smoldering after their opening for The Dead Daisies. On November 5, they’re back — no support slot, no constraints. Just Beastö Blancö in full command, taking over the intimate Backstage By The Mill, a compact venue nestled deep in the red light district of Pigalle, and bringing with them the industrial, sci-fi rock juggernaut that is Kinetica.
Front and center is Calico Cooper — a feral presence with performance art in her blood and a snarl straight from her father. Beside her, longtime partner-in-chaos Chuck Garric slings guitar with seasoned menace. Together, they deliver a heady blend of industrial metal fury and midnight movie sleaze: shock, humor, satire, and sex appeal, all wrapped around riffs and hooks you could hang a cadaver on.
It’s the most fun you can have with your clothes on — though in that neighborhood, that last bit might be optional.
